Ruth Tringham, Brit Solli and Marie Louise Stig Sørensen:  Parallel Lives – an Interview with Ruth Tringham. (2007)

The interview was conducted in Cambridge, UK, on 23 October 2007, the day after my participation in a Personal Histories Project retrospective at the Department of Archaeology of Cambridge University together with Meg Conkey, Henrietta Moore and Alison Wylie, and organized by Pamela Smith. That panel was about the early days of the feminist practice of archaeology. After the panel discussion, Marie Stig Sørensen and Brit Solli, both editors of the Norwegian Archaeological Review and distinguished archaeologists themselves, interviewed me on my own personal history in archaeology. They were interested in drawing parallels between the history of the journal Norwegian Archaeological Review and my own professional evolution.

The interview was transcribed by the interviewees together with Dr Katharina Rebay, University of Cambridge.
